Overview

As 2024 draws to a close, we've got plenty of new games for 2025 joining the last handful of late year releases. From a certain whip-cracking, much anticipated upcoming Bethesda game from Wolfenstein developer MachineHead to Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, there's still a scant few games still to land before we usher in the new year.

There are still some massive upcoming Xbox Series X games, some key upcoming PS5 games - especially exciting now that some are confirmed to be part of the PS5 Pro enhanced games haul - and some excellent-looking new adventure games for a variety of platforms. In short? 2025 is going to be a very, very busy time to stay on top of your backlog. And, don’t worry, we haven’t left you Switch fans out of the fun either!
